General

Use of any of our services assumes that the client agrees they have read and will abide by our Terms and Conditions. Jess’ Canine College reserves the right to make changes to the services or terms at any time without notice. 

 

Confidentiality

Jess’ Canine College keeps all customer information and details in the strictest confidence and is not shared with a third party.

 

We may use your email for marketing purposes within Jess’ Canine College or send text or email confirmations to which you are able to unsubscribe at any time.

Photography/Video

The client agrees to give Jess’ Canine College permission to use photos and videos taken for promotion, advertising, social media, education, or any other purpose.

 

Behaviour

The client agrees to convey any known behavioural problems, aggression and bite history to Jess’ Canine College. The client is solely responsible for any harm or injury caused by their dog. Jess’ Canine College reserves the right to refuse or cease services to a client.

 

Dog Health​

Should a dog or client arrive showing signs of sickness or distress prior to or during a session, Jess’ Canine College reserves the right to turn a client away in their best interest and provide an alternative option.

 

For Walk & Trains and pet minding services, dogs must be micro-chipped, wearing an ID tag, be up to date with vaccinations, flea, tick and worming prevention. Jess’ Canine College will not be held responsible for any injury or illnesses that may occur whilst in the care of Jess’ Canine College. Jess’ Canine College accepts no liability for any dogs that are not insured.

 

The client agrees that their pet is in good health, and if not, agrees to pass on details of any allergies, injuries, or medical conditions. Should your dog need medical attention whilst in our care, Jess’ Canine College reserves the right to provide necessary first aid, and/or transport them to a veterinary clinic. Any related expenses are to be paid by the client. In this unlikely event, you would be contacted immediately.

The client chooses to participate at their own risk and agrees they are responsible for any injury, harm or damage caused by their dog. The client further agrees that under no circumstances will Jess’ Canine College or its employees be held responsible for illness, injury, theft, death, loss or damages of any kind that may occur whilst in the care of Jess’ Canine College. 

 

 

PAYMENTS/CANCELLATIONS

  

Walk & Train

• Payment is to be made in full to confirm the chosen appointment time.

• Cancellation within 24 hours requires payment in full.

• If we cannot gain access to your pet on the day of the scheduled walk, the service will still be charged at the full rate. Providing a house key for access will mean this is less likely.

 

Private Behaviour & Training Consultations

• Complete payment must be provided via bank transfer prior to confirm the chosen appointment time.

• Refunds are not provided for this service.

• Cancellation within 24 hours results in a 50% cancellation fee if the spot is not filled. The remaining 50% of the booking will be refunded to the client.

• The duration for utilizing the services included in each package is specified in the package information. Any services that remain unused beyond this timeframe will be invalidated, and refunds will only be granted if explicitly stated by Jess' Canine College.

• There are no refunds available on any package once the package has begun and thereafter.

• You assume full responsibility for using the information and advice provided in relation to the aforementioned services.

• We reserve the right to make improvements and/or modifications to the products, services, and programs described, without prior notice.

• The client acknowledges that information exchanged during the consultation is intended solely for their own dog(s). Sharing training plans with other dog owners may not yield the same results, as each dog is an individual with unique experiences in the world. Jess' Canine College bears no responsibility for any outcomes that may arise from sharing information or training plans.

Travel Fees

• At the discretion of Jess' Canine College, clients will be responsible for travel fees in addition to the consultation fee. The specific travel fee amount will depend on the consultation location. Locations within the Macedon Ranges and Sunbury are exempt from travel fees. Any travel fees for areas beyond the specified regions will be determined by Jess' Canine College.
